The Virtual Library of Olfaction is an extensive bibliography and time-saving resource for accurate information on the sense of smell. It's a great place for scientific researchers, students, teachers, journalists and the general public to start their investigations into the mysteries of olfaction and its influence on human behavior and well-being. Our scientific advisors have reviewed hundreds of scientific journals and books published in the field and selected the references included here based on their scientific validity and high relevance to human olfaction.

The books are compendiums of olfactory research sponsored by the Sense of Smell Institute and contain the full scientific reports on these studies.
